ESG
Our commitment to sustainability

We enable a better world
AnalytiChem is committed to supporting the communities in which we operate. We believe in the practice of social responsibility and encourage similar behavior in our employees and suppliers. We are committed to transparency, accountability, and ethical governance, striving to maintain high standards of integrity and risk management.

We hold ourselves accountable

We align with the UN Sustainable Development Goals
We care for the planet and its inhabitants
Since the creation of AnalytiChem, we have been driving ESG initiatives into our organization that support the conservation of the physical environment and the prevention of pollution at our facilities and, as such, our environmental commitments include:
- Protection of the environment;
- Conformity to compliance obligations;
- Continual improvement;
- Sustainable resource management;
- Climate change mitigation and adaptation;
- Protection of biodiversity and ecosystems.
We are actively engaged in minimizing the use of resources – reducing energy consumption, water consumption, and materials used, avoid polluting water, soil, and air, as well as not threatening biodiversity.
With regard to energy consumption, we are committed to replacing fossil-based energy with renewable energy, and using energy derived from solar panels and wind or water plants. The solar panel initiatives at some of our production sites are an example of that. We are focused and on pace to reduce our Scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and our goal is to achieve a net-zero target in the coming years. We aim to be energy positive by the end of 2045. This shall be achieved by a number of initiatives.
For example, by sourcing or generating energy through use of photovoltaic solar panels and/or wind or water energy as well as replacing gas heating by modern and efficient electrical heat-pumps.
We also aim to reduce the impact of indirect CO2 emissions to the extent plausible. This includes prioritizing business partners that support ESG initiatives from their side as well as strategies to avoid unnecessary emissions and/or to compensate for any negative impact. The target is to fully avoid or compensate for all such emissions by end of 2045.
We scale our impact and persevere on improvement
Because we recognize the urgency of creating a positive impact on the environment and society, and while we are proudly committed to pursuing our ambitious targets, we know we take on a stage of important research, assessment and development.
There's a multitude of steps ahead that include understanding, at an internal level, where we are and how we can progress in the future and how we can offer our customers and partners transparency.
In addition to this, to continually monitor, measure, and report progress, to strengthen our decision-making and to have a trusted rating of our improvement, we are working with an internationally renowned partner on the topics of Sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility. By using their expertise and recognized assessment, we endeavor to keep driving our continual improvement process, assuring we are keeping up with our KPIs.

We have been awarded the EcoVadis Bronze Medal!
